new album coming soon…

Hannah Moule is a cellist, singer, songwriter and composer best known as the bandleader and principal writer of Moulettes.

For over two decades she has forged a singular musical path, creating expansive, un-algorhythmic work that draws from art-rock, folk, and chamber-pop while remaining unmistakably anomalous.

A prolific & varied roster of collaborations have shaped her musical versatility, sharing stage and studios with artists including Evelyn Glennie, Levellers, Arthur Brown, Alabaster DePlume, Mystery Jets, Mesadorm, Kalbells, Ríoghnach Connolly (The Breath), Blind Yeo and Emma Richardson (The Pixies). Her work has taken her across Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and Canada, performing at festivals and venues including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Green Man and Shambala.

After 25 years of international touring with Moulettes, Hannah is now stepping forward with a solo record and live show — a rare opportunity to experience her voice, cello playing and songwriting in their purest form. Stripped back, playful and immediate, these performances reveal an artist completely at ease with her craft.

The conversation between cello and voice is tactile and symbiotic: at times feral and stark, by turn cosy & tender.

Rich with melodic invention and sensory lyricism, Hannah’s songs feel both familiar and visionary, marking her out as one of the UK’s most distinctive musical voices.
